Lane family
« on: Thursday 04 September 08 23:27 BST (UK) »

Trying to research lane families that came from ireland to carmarthenshire wales in 1830's-1840's onwards.  My GGG grandfather was Michael Lane born ireland around 1816.

I have heard of stories that there were travellers within the family who used to do the horse fairs, however I also realise that many refered to people from outside of the county as travellers.

Any help would be great
