Marriage & Birth Mawbey

Hi Can anyone help i am after Births of a
Joseph Mawbey born C1784 in Merlan Park Galway
Also Elizabeth Slater C1783
Also the Marriage of the above 2 which would have been in Ireland as they had their 1st 2 children in Ireland then their 3rd was born in Staffs england around 1810.
any info would be much appreciated.

Have you tried the search on the Irish History Foundation website?
The nearest I could find was a marriage for a Mary Slater County Galway 1819.  Maybe not her as she was having her third child in 1810?  People were often christened one name, and then went by their second name etc, or maybe it's the marriage of a sister.
Registration did not begin until 1864, so it's parish records you are looking for. 
Couldn't find anything on Joseph Mawbey though. Are you sure this is the correct surname?  Could you check it against a census record, or have a second look at it.  Nothing is coming up at all for Mawbey.

Mawbey definitely his surname although could be spelled differently.
