Hi, Everyone
I'm a newbie here. Been researching my family tree on and off for about 30 years.
I'm looking for a John Drew - he is shown in the 1841 census as living in Tipton, England, he's 35 and born in Ireland.
When the new Irish records came online recently, I've waited patiently until the majority of them were online and searched each time for my John Drew 1805/6 and then Co Meath came online and I think I've found him.

I paid for to view the birth/baptism record and found a mother and father. I don't want to pursue this moneywise until the other 4-5 counties are in and I'm sure it's him. So I found a potential mother and father for him and have now looked at the marriages between Patrick Drew and Mary Walsh around 1794.
My question is - the Patrick who was married in 1794 was from Louth and the Mary Walsh who was married in 1794 was from Dublin. They appear to be the only ones of that name marrrying around that sort of time but would their counties be the ones they married in or the ones they were from?
If this John Drew is mine and those are his parents, it would make sense if one was from Louth and one from Dublin and my John was born in Meath. Perhaps it was equidistant from both of their homes!!??
If anyone has any ideas or information I'd be very grateful.
Thanks.
Yvonne.
