hello All,

Can someone help me knock down my brick wall please.

I have                 William Spence b abt 1827
married to            Margaret Spence? b abt 1827

Children             mary Spence b 1851
                         William Spence b 1856
                          Martha J Spence b 1864

I have this from the shipping list for the Blue Jacket to Lyttleton NZ in 1867.

Marys marriage & death certs here state she is from Donegal Ireland.

I would like info on William & margaret also Martha I have not been able to find any more from New Zealand.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Historical New Zealand BDM records have only recently gone online. It might be worth having a look here:

As the people you're searching for arrived at Lyttleton, Christchurch City Council's cemetery database could be worth searching. If you get any likely hits, click on the detail link. Sometimes there's a surprising amount of info:
