Nelson London Bus Co. 1930-1940

My Grandfather was a conductor (clippie) on Nelson Buses run in the Tottenham, Crooked Billet areas of London certainly around the 1940-1950's.
I have a collection of photo's and a wonderful cap badge but cannot trace any more information. My searches seem only to come up with London Transport or Nelson in Lancs.
Can anybody assist my search either with a web site or a publication I could purchase that will help me.

can't find a mention of your Granddad's bus -but this site may be worth a look at

Just a thought but wouldn't you be better posting this on the London board - more likely to get spotted by someone with local knowledge
