Hi

Please could someone help me?! I am unable to find anything about my great grandmother other that info below. I would love to know where she came from, who her parents and sibs were ....

Re: Clara ( Anne?) Scott born 1866 Scotland ( I think ) died 19 September 1949 Simonstown,South Africa.

The story goes..... She went to Simonstown as a Ladys maid to the Vice Admiral or Admirals wife. When she married William James Eddles in Simonstown, the Admiral/Vice Admirals wife arranged for the reception to be held in the grounds of their home in Simonstown.

Any help would be much appreciated.
