1841/51 - Richard & Sarah Griffiths - Allensmore area please.
« on: Saturday 29 January 05 22:56 GMT (UK) »

Hi,

I would be grateful for info from the 1841/1851 census for the following:

Richard & Sarah Griffiths. They married in Allensmore in 1835. Their son Isaac was born in 1838 so he should also appear on the census.

Thank you

Hi Julie,

Thank you very much for the 1841 details....Hangman's Green..sounds interesting!!  Grin

The only other clues to this Griffiths family is from Isaac (the 2 year old in 1841!)

He married in Burghill in 1860, in 1871 he was at Hope under Dinmore, 1881 - 1901 at Westhope Hill, Canon Pyon. On all of these it is noted that he was deaf from birth (as was his wife!).

Not really an indication of where his parents lived but I was hoping they wouldn't have gone far!

Thank you again for the 1841.
