Hi Tabitha, 1841.Allensmore..107/427/2.....Hangmans Green...(i have looked several times and am sure it says that!).. Richard Griffiths..30..Ag Lab..Y.. Sarah ..do...........20............Y. Richard...do......10...............Y. Isaac......do......2..........Y......... Elizabeth James........75.........Y. (Y denotes whether born locally) I can't seem to find them in Allensmore in the 1851.The only Griffiths's there is a family of brother's and sister's headed by James who is 21...have you any idea where else they might be??Julie
Thank you very much for the 1841 details....Hangman's Green..sounds interesting!!
The only other clues to this Griffiths family is from Isaac (the 2 year old in 1841!)
He married in Burghill in 1860, in 1871 he was at Hope under Dinmore, 1881 - 1901 at Westhope Hill, Canon Pyon. On all of these it is noted that he was deaf from birth (as was his wife!).
Not really an indication of where his parents lived but I was hoping they wouldn't have gone far!
