George Moore & Ann - marriage Lookup (COMPLETED)

Hello

I am trying to find the marriage of George Moore (born abt 1841 in Barwell Leicestershire) and Ann (born abt 1838 in Hinckley Leicestershire).  I originally thought it might have been in 1860 (from the BMD) with George marrying Ann Chapman although this does not tie with the census' as in 1861 George is unmarried and living with his dad in Barwell, whilst in 1871 George is married to Ann and his dad is living with them in Hinckley. 

This would suggest a marriage after 1861 with their first child born in 1864 and a marriage before 1871.

Can anybody help with this mystery?

George Moore  Q2. 1861  Leicester  Vol 7a.  pg. 282
Ann Rickwood on the same page

1861 census has Ann Rickwood age 23 B. Hinkley, lodging in Upper Bond Street, Hinkley

That looks to be a good possibility!

Perhaps Mike, or someone else, could help me verify if these details look to be correct.  I always thought Barwell came under Hinckley, although perhaps he was travelling there!

It is also possible that they wanted to marry in a particular denomination church and there wasn't one in Barwell ?

Or maybe the registry office ?

GEORGE MOORE, 21, Bachelor. Frame Work Knitter, of Friday St,
Son. of THOMAS MOORE, Frame Work Knitter.
 
ANN  RICKWOOD, 23, Spinster. of Friday St,
Daughter. of JOHN RICKWOOD, Shoe Maker
Wits:~
T. Townsend
Lucy Townsend.

Both ages fits nicely
George's Father's name & Occupation matches.

1841. Census.

With Mother Mary Aged 25 & Brother Edward aged 5. Ann aged. 3.

Within the Household of John Thorne SHOE MAKER.
Blue Bell Yard Lower Bond Street Hinckley.
