Hi all,
Does anyone have anything on a COLLINS family in Wigtonshire. An Australian contact of mine is looking for info on the parents, birth and death of the following ancestors:
Hugh Collins married Mary Anne in Wigntonshire 1840.
any help much appreciated!

Checked LDS for marriage
Hugh COLLINS married Mary Ann CAUGHY Kirkholm, Wigtown 31st May 1840
Checked 1851 census found following details. You will see that Mary Ann is not showing with her family. These details were obtained from Dumfries & Galloway Council site.
