But I think it is probably ENSON - no aitch!! I found only 8 or so people in all census stating Henson as a pob. One was a man who in a later Census, stated "Enson". In other Census he says "Stafford".
Ha! Great bit of deduction Ambly! Thanks very much for that. I had wondered if it was a mis-transcription, but that's more often the case if they were living in a different county from their pob - but they were only living 'down the road' in Stone.
Maybe she was just trying to make Enson sound posh!!
