Yes, that's the same family. My list of the family is
Helen Janet James Andrew John Thomson Elizabeth Margaret James
The strange thing is. I visited Airth Parish church last summer on a Hotchkiss research mission and happened to see a grave stone with James Steel's name on it. Just kind of stuck in my mind.
The more I'm finding out on both sides of my family tree, we all seem to be from Airth. Think it's something to do with people moving off the land and starting to work in the iron and coal industry in this era.
