Hello Howard. Here are the inscriptions for Brancepeth, Lax and Martin:-

Sacred to the memory of Thomas Lax of Crook, who died 4th April 1850 aged 73 years.
Ann Lax, wife of the above Thomas lax, died 27th May 1819 aged 27 years.
Joseph Lax, of Wheatbottom, brother of the above Thomas Lax, died 10th April 1827 aged 46 years
Ann Lax, wife of the above Joseph lax, died 6th September 1850 aged 72 years.

Sacred to the memory of John Warick Martin, son of Warick and Mary Martin of Willington, who died December/6/1853 aged 9 years and 7 months.

In memory of George Dowson, son of William and Mary Dowson of Brandon, who died August/5/1845 aged 18 years.

Thank you so much for that. Not the one I was looking for but I think he must link. My other intrest in the area was the Madgin but you have already done them earlier in this Topic, so thanks for that as well.

Hello Brian. Madgin is not a very common name.
I do have one for Frosterley, died 1920 aged 60 years.
Other than that Brancepeth and Frosterley are the only gravestones for Madgin in the area.

Hello Bob41. I have had a look but can not find a request for Hull.
Can you tell me the thread and the posting number? In case you need the inscriptions
there are 6 gravestones for Hull. 1 at Crook, 1 at Lynesack, 1 at Willington, 2 at Brancepeth, and i at Tow law.

Now I see it. I was looking for the name Hull and of course it was not mentioned.
It had me confused because I keep a record of all the surname postings that I make so that I do not send duplicates
