Hello Okkie. Just one gravestone for Gray at Brancepeth. Here it is:-

In affectionate remembrance of Isabella, the beloved wife of James Gray of Waterhouses, who died August/5/1878 aged 53 years.
Also Ann, daughter of the above who died October/22/1860 aged 8 months.

Hello Okkie. Looking at the list of names that you are researching tells me that I have posted inscriptions on those Durham names.
You may have to read through the posts on various graveyard inscriptions
(unless there is another way to search for them)
It may help you.

Thanks Adamand

Ralph and Eleanor are both Hulls - married in Willington, Brancepeth on 11th Nov 1708.

Is there anything else on the inscriptions for these 2?

Thanks

Hi

sorry, this relates to a previous post from you on 4th October 08.  Ralph and Eleanor's surname was Hull.  I might have misunderstood but did they have their own gravstones?

Thanks  Smiley

Hello Seed Pod. There were two gravestones for Brownless.
One was for Henry and Margaret.
The other was for Henry, Ann, George, Ralph, Eleanor.
Both had weathering damage making parts unreadable.
There were no more for Brownless but there are two for the other Hull name that you mentioned.

Hello Alison. Here are the Tindale inscriptions:-

I memory of Mary, infant daughter of John and Mary Tindale of Brancepeth, who died August/15/1863 age 16 months.
Also Mary, wife of the above named John Tindale, who died December/6/1865 aged 33 years.
Rosa Tindale, died July/29/1880 aged 9 years
Also of the above John Tindale, born March/16/1834, died September/10/1898.
Also Clara Isabella Tindale, born November/22/1834, died November/24/1901.
John Frederick Tindale, born February/24/1877, died February/20/1909.

This next one is a small stone in poor condition. Hence the ? mark on the date.

In loving memory of Richard Hartley Tindale, born September/11/1817(could be 1917), died June/11/1818 or 1918.

Thanks Adam. Sadly this is not mine although you never know I might find a connection later on.  Undecided

You seem to have collated a lot of monumental inscriptions. Do you have any for Houghton or Easington? Still looking for Tindale or Tindall.
