Hi All, I'm trying to fill in the missing side of my family tree, so I would be interested in any details of descendents or ancestors of William Hickey born 18th jan 1894 in Collon Co.Louth. He married Mary Anne Murphy born 26th Oct 1898 They were married on 4th Aug 1923. William's father was Christopher Hickey and his mother was Mary Gough [Goff]. Mary Anne's father was Peter Murphy and her mother was Mary Woods. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this would help me further the maternal side of my tree,

theres a few promising records on the Louth Index on http://www.irish-roots.ie

   Church Baptism    Hickey    William    1872    Co. Louth
   Church Baptism    Heekey    William    1894    Co. Louth


both records are RC and from the parish of Colllon
the 1894 record looks a good match (except for the spelling) and could include parents names, address etc

the records are pay-per-view (5 euro).

Church Marriage    Hickey    Christopher    1890    Co. Louth
Church Marriage    Gough    Mary    1890    Co. Louth

both in the Parish of Collon
