If you can give us any first names or dates for your families, someone may be able to help you further. It also helps if you can tell us what information you already have and if there is something specific you are looking for.

If you have a look at the bottom of the page you will see [your surname interests] - if you click on that, you can search for others researching the same names as yourself (there is someone researching Troughton in Westmorland). You can then contact the person directly by clicking on their name. However as you are new, you will need to make a few posts before you can contact anyone via this method.

Is Mary Jane Troughton the daughter of Anthony and Agnes?  As she married just after the 1901 census, or so it appears at first glance, do you have the marriage certificate to prove who her father is?    I am quite happy to look for all these people on the census for you but do not want to duplicate work you have already done so it would help if you could specify exactly what you want to know.
