Ive been looking on ancestry and found some information i would like too look into. of family trees. the only problem is i dint have full access to the tree to contact the owner any ideas .or will i have too pay for it. wrote the name of the contact. and he has loads of names that look like they match my ableson going back too William ableson born 7th may 1738 died 1808 not sure if the 2 Marys are his sister and wife. so any ideas would be great thanks guys. and if i have posted in the wrong section I'm sorry.  netty xx

hi netty,
You could try putting a query on ancestry's community website as that is free and perhaps the person will get in touch.
Other than that you will have to pay for an annual membership. I was the same as you but recently took the plunge and it was worth as I am now in touch with my great aunt's family in Canada. I now have all dates, photos, immigration info etc. as well as other info for other areas of the tree. Save up! it could be worth it!

Hi Netty,
It's a pleasure to help. I have had lots of help from others myself. It sounds as though you are doing very well to get back so far!
Just had a thought- have you thought of putting the ableson tree/or some of it  onto ancestry and see if that person contacts you, perhaps wait until after Christmas for that too.

hi rae
i do have a bit of my tree on ancestry  but not that much .its just in the last 2 or 3 weeks i have got that far back with going to teeside archives once a week for a few hours .and going through all the transcribes and chuch records. been very well worth going .i would recomend to all us rooters have a go . its free to look and they can be very helpful if your not sure what you are lookig for. if you are wanting a copy of a marriage its 50p a copy the same with baptisims records. i will put the rest of my tree on ancestry. it might help others searching the same line.   love netty xx
