ww1 memorial sacred trinity church salford
« on: Monday 31 January 05 02:43 UTC (UK) »

hello everyone, i know it's a long shot but just wondered if anybody had a photo of the ww1 memorial to the lancashire fusiliers, at the sacred trinity church salford,
i beleive the church is next to manchester city centre, chapel street or blackfriars road?
just found out that my great uncle Arthur Warburton of the 16th battalion is on the memorial.
If anyone has a photo of the memorial would love to see it.
due to illness unable to get down to the church myself at the moment to take a photo.

Regards

I've found that they can be quite helpful in providing info/photos etc.
The address is as follows:

Sorry, don't have a phone number with me.
If you cnotact them they may have a copy of the inscriptions and/or photos and if you send them the money to cover they will copy it for you.

Mobo and Claudia

would be great if Arthur was named on the photo, but whatever they send I'll be more than happy, another branch to the family tree.
Can be quite contagious this family research bug, don't you think? Smiley
