Looking for birth date or maybe baptism for :-

John DANTER b.Abt.1829 Eldersfield d.23Nov1905Malvern Workhouse.

wifes name was Emma b.Abt1837 Stourport and they had so far I have found 4 children
Arthur E DANTER b January 1866
Herbert William DANTER b.26July1868
Ernest Henry DANTER b.Abt.July 1872
Sarah Jane DANTER b.Abt.April1875

Any help or pointers would be grateful

According to the 1871 census, both John & Emma were born in Gloucestershire

1871 for Chaceley Village Worcs

John DAUNTER 41 ag labourer b Gloucs looks like Forthampton
Emma 32 b Tewkesbury Gloucs
Arthur 4 b Chaceley
Herbert 2 b Chaceley
RG10; Piece: 2676; Folio: 6; Page: 3

In 1881,1891 and 1901 they are living in Gloucs - Forthampton - and birthplaces for Peter and Emma are now as you say - Eldersfield and Stourport.  Surname is again DAUNTER in 1881 and Danter in 1891/1901

Somebody else is researching this family as this is a submitted IGI entry

What's not very helpful is the changing of the spelling of the family name. Angry

Having said that when you think of the area I bet the accents were really broad.
I bet the  annumerator had a devil of a job understanding them.
