On the marriage record of my Gt Grandmother Hannah Carroll to John Jones in Fermoy, Co. Cork in 1885, her Father shows as Martin Carroll, Farmer, in Tipperary I believe.

I have no other information on Hannah's family and therefore I know almost nothing about her.
I would like to know her Mother's name (it hasn't been entered on the marriage record) and what, if any, siblings she had.

Does anyone have a Martin Carroll & Family,of that era, back in their family tree, which may help me fill in some blanks?

I'd be grateful for any help please

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping that this new year might see me possibly tracing  family connections to my Irish Gt |Grandmother, Hannah Carroll.

Although I know her father's name was Martin Carroll, who was a farmer in Tipperary when my Gt Grandmother got married in 1885, I have not been able to trace her mother's name anywhere; it does not appear on the Church Record of the marriage and I just don't know of any other way to find it.
My only hope would appear to be in tracing descendants of my Gt Grandmothers' siblings.

I am unable to progress further with my search so I would be very grateful if anyone out there thinks they may have info that could help me or guide me forward.
