Hi all,

Looking for a Susannah Crane (maiden name Broome) in the 1841 Census please?

Her details are as follows:

DOB:  approx 1765
POB:  (possibly) Norwich

It is a bit of a long shot - her husband, John Crane was transported in 1813, and her son, William Christopher Crane was in Australia by 1821, where he married in New South Wales, so she may well have been dead by 1841!  Just trying to start finding out what happened to her, etc...

On BMD there are two deaths same quarter for Susannah Crane could it be Mother and daughter Huh?

June qtr 1838 Susannah  CRANE   Gt Yarmouth  13 211
   "      "     "          "               "         "       "           13 261

Gt Yarmouth not far from Norwich.
