Fraser family
« on: Friday 10 October 08 21:03 UTC (UK) »

I am looking for children of James Fraser and wife Jane ?  In the 1851 census for Elgin they lived at Woodside, James was 70 a farmer of 4 acres, Jane 69 and grand daughters Elspet 12 and Mary 2 (my great grandmother), her parents were Charles Fraser, I have never found anything of him, and Elizabeth More.  They were not married.  Any help would be appreciated.

According to a submitted entry on the IGI - Elspet was b 26.8.1838 and was the daughter of James Fraser and Agnes Findlay

As Mary is also a Fraser - it has to be presumed that her father Charles was the son of James and Jane
