Arthur Darby b 1860 was the son of William Darby b1814 (Barrow on Soar) and Louisa b 1826 (Countesthorpe, Leicester). He was one of five children:
Charles b 1869
Edwin b 1864
Ellen b 1866
Walter b 1862
Charles was my husband's grandfather.
Willam and Louisa are buried in the Trinity Church graveyard in Barrow in Soar. I would be grateful for any help to find the parents of William.

 Hi, well I am not sure these darby's are part of my tree ,unfortunetly I don,t have who william's parents are but as for ARTHUR DARBY I have this.
ARTHUR DARBY b abt 1860 peatling leics married ELIZABETH ANN LAMBOURN she was b abt 1861 twyford buckinghamshire
children.

This is from the 1901 census, civil parish barrow upon soar holy trinty.
As I said i am not sure they are part of my tree as of yet but if you have any other details please let me know. Thank you.

Well I thought I would add in something i have just found out. One of My great grandmother's sisters named BERTHA DARBY was born the 5 jan, 1882 and died the 23 sept, 1967 and she married GEORGE HENRY HALLAM who was born the 27 july, 1882 and died the 12 aug, 1941
I have a few dates of their children but will only add the ones who are now deseased.
JOHN WILLIAM HALLAM b 13 july 1907, died 18 aug, 1977, he had married VERA BOLTEN had no children.
THOMAS WALTER HALLAM b 2 sept, 1909, died the 4 oct, 1930(killed on his motorcycle by a run away horse.
EDNA MAY HALLAM b 4 may, 1917, died 12 aug, 1989
SIDNEY GEORGE HALLAM b 6 oct, 1905, died 11 aug, 1991

I was looking around and i found this information on someones tree and it belongs to my tree as well so I thought I would add it here as well.

Hi again, I am still hoping someone can help me with CAROLINE DARBY born about 1879/1880 barrow upon soar leicestershire who married LUCIAN BRIGGS also from barrow. CAROLINE died in 1907, she had married LUCIAN the 19 dec,1903. I believe at one point they moved to quorndon,leics. I am wondering if they had a child,and i found out she had committed suicide .
Can anyone help me with this.

Hi my name is Angharad Armson was a Goodwin till a couple of weeks ago and I am trying to trace some of my families history as we have found a relative who we never knew existed.

GRACE DARBY age 30 daughter of JOHN THOMAS DARBY, married JAMES WILLIAM GOODWIN age 30 the 18 sept, 1915 barrow upon soar.He was a bachelor and worked as a mechanic. His father was GEORGE GOODWIN (deceased)
JAMES WILLIAM GOODWIN is my Great Grandad and is buried with my Grandads sister Dot in Lanarkshire Scotland.
My relative who has got in touch from New Zealand is the son of Nora Darby (child out of wedlock) as a family my Dad doesn't remember Nora ever marrying yet in some of your records you have mentioned her marrying a Jack?
Nora's son is struggling to find any information about his childhood or anymore family information so we would really like it if you could help us too.
