Alexander married elspeth farquhar on 18 january 1765 in Wick.
Trying to find anything on either of their parents. All suggestions gratefully received.

I've got an Elspet Farquhar from Wick in my tree (not the same one as yours - she married Alexander Oag).
However, it might interest you to know that in my searches, I found various births on SP around the 1730's where the name was transcribed as Fraquhar, Fraquar and Farqhar.
