Downes family ( Munslow,Brimfield)

hi to all!
can anyone one help me trace a James Downes`s parents or immediate family. he was born in 1858c in Munslow,Shropshire and eventually ended up in brimfield,shropshire.. i think his mother may have been called Jane...
Any help would be appreciated..thanks!!! I`m really stuck.....

Hi,

I don't if this is a match or not.

In my wife's family there is an Ester (sometimes Easter) Downes born in 1851 (Culmington) who married Thomas Gough from Diddlebury - pretty close to Munslow - in Sheffield, Yorkshire!

Her father was Henry Downes.

Unfortunately, all we have is the information from her marriage certificate.

William James Downes age 11 months b Brimfield, Herefordshire (son)

All living in Brimfield, Herefordshire 1891 census.

James Downes age 42 b Munslow, Shropshire
Carlouine Downes age 35 b Eye, Herefordshire (wife)
William Downes age 10 b Brimfield, Herefordshire (son)
Agnes Downes age 8 b Brimfield, Herefordshire (daughter)
Elizabeth Downes age 6 b Brimfield, Herefordshire (daughter)
Florence Downes age 3 b Brimfield, Herefordshire (daughter)

All living in Brimfield, Herefordshire 1901 census.
