My Dad aged two in 1891

can anyone help,my Uncle was last traced to Queensland when being searched for concerning a estate,after a few years presumed dead and his share divided up,now his grandson has popped up I am glad to say but we are trying to work out a mystery,his family have no knowledge of him going to Australia,I know he definately did,re a postcard sent home on arrival and the trace done on him,he was Charles Ernest Hickman born 1893 Heredforshire and he married in UK in 1915,so my timeline is 1911 when he was 18 to 1914 year before marriage,where can I go to try and find entry or exit to Australia,75% sure he said "arrived safe Sydney will contact you when I find fixed Abode"any help appreciated.

I dont know if this is of any interest or if it will confuse you more but
There is a marriage in 1912 in NSW
Charles Ernest Hickman to Ivy S Hindman
Death in 1960 in NSW
Charles Ernest Hickman parents William Henry and Mary Matilda
Also Charles Ernest and Ivy Hickman appear in the 1930 and 1936 census of NSW at 26 Mitchell St Putney in NSW. He is listed as a storeman.

Thank-you Mariac,
I did wonder about that one but you have just confirmed it is not him,as his parents were William Hickman and Phoebe Parkes,this one is a complete mystery,as I know for definate he went there but his grandson had no ideah about this,He was born in 1893,married in Uk in 1915,had two children here in 1920,died here in 1954,yet in 1960,they searched for him,his eldest sister,born 1871 had had a card from Australia saying he had rrived safely,when searching they last traced him to Queensland,so when did he go?he could have gone when his children were older,there was a family problem when the children were born,so could have seperated for a while at sometime,he is a complete mystery,it his definately him and his line,anyone have any ideahs,I dont know where to look next,his sister Auntie Leah went out in early 1920,s and married out there.
Leah Hickman born 1877,Charles Ernest Hickman born 1893,Leah married Robert Collins there have the Marriage cert,Melbourne area.

found another clue,he dissapeared in about 1920 about the time of the births(not twins) as his wife was not to happy with him,so this looks the most likely time he went,he would have been about 27 then.

Hi Robert and Mariac,
Thanks for your help,found him I think in 1926,his occupation ,motor driver,as he was a chauffer,I just have to look for his rentry now,had to be there as here died here in 1954.
