Hi

looking for information on Peter SINCLAIR born circa 1830 in Shetland ( either Sandsting/Wells?aithsting area)..

probably dead by 1871 - I think his wife was called Catherine TWATT on 1871 she is shown with the 2 children  Mary and Eliza.

If any one has any confirmation of the Marriage of Peter and Catherine I would be very grateful

I found a Peter Sinclair who married a Catherine Goodlad on 14/09/1848 at Sandsting and went on to check what children they had and there was a mary and elizabeth and more children

Catherine Sinclair b 15/02/1856 Sandsting
James Sinclair       b 23/08/1858  """""""""
Elizabeth Sinclair  b 25/11/1861 """"""""""
Mary  Sinclair        b 28/10/1864 """"""""""
And Catherines surname varies in the births from Goodlet/Goodlad.Then i found a Peter Sinclair died 1867 in Shetland aged 50.I dont know if this is your family but the match with Sandsting and Elizabeth and mary its a chance
