Anne McKay b. about 1827-28 (nee McMichael or Carmichael) in Ramoan, Antrim m. Jeremiah McKay of Ballintoy, Antrim and they were married 1852 in Rothesay.  Jeremiah died 1865 in Dumbarton.  Anne is reputed to have died 1880 in Rothesay.  One of their sons, James McKay b. 1861 in Dumbarton may have settled in Bute and she may have been living there with him or with son Robert McKay b. 1863 also b. Dumbarton.  I am looking for more info on James and Robert, did they stay in Rothesay?  Marry?  Children?  Another brother, John, b. 1859 or 1865 in Dumbarton married 1889 in Port Glasgow, noted as mill laborer.  Any additional info on sons James or Robert would esp. be appreciated.
