Hi I'm looking for any information on Murphy or lawlor in kilcullen around the 1900s
My Gran's dad was Edward Murphy from Kilcullen who married Mary Ann lawlor
who had my Gran on the 5 Oct 1916 . Any one with any information

The Irish Civil Index can be searched online at familysearch - see : http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#c=1408347;p=2;t=searchable

The town of Kilcullen is in the registration district of Naas, which covers a large area. There are a few marriages around the right time for both names.

Certs can be ordered using the index details from the GRO : www.groireland.ie

The Irish Family History Foundation  has 1901 census data available on their pay-site at : www.irish-roots.ie (the records are transcripts, they charge €5 for each) I see two Edward Murphy's in the Kulcullen DED listed in the Index. There are also 2 Mary Lawlors

The 1901 and 1911 census data for Co. Kildare is due to be available free on the National Archives Website later this year : http://census.nationalarchives.ie/
