Just to let you know I have tried to get the old phone books for North Wales on the ancestry site but can't find them. Your best hope is that the 1911 census is only two years away. If I can ever get to Rhyl I will look in the reference library for any local street directories which might help. I am another Williams but not from that area. Alan

Hello Newby Dee,
The Rhyl area is in Denbighshire. Rhyl records are in the Record Office in Ruthin.
The way you might obtain this is to find the Electoral Roll for that year and address. This should be in the RO.
The other way is by looking at street directories which are often kept in local libraries. It could be worthwhile calling the Rhyl library to see if they can help you by a quick look up there. I know that there are many street directories in the library in Llandudno but these rae mainly for that town, they do have others though.
The other line of enquiry would be via the North Wales Family History Group, I am sure they would have some documents on this.
You can search the 1911 census online but it is fee paying at present.
Jo

Hello, Rhyl records are also in Flintshire Records Office Hawarden. They keep Flintshire and Denbighshire records.
They also have Electoral Roll's, Jo. I'll have a look.
Paul.

The family history society covering Rhyl is Clwyd FHS http://www.clwydfhs.org.uk/
Unfortunately Wales isn't available on the 1911 census yet
