They could both be good possibilities as both Salehurst and Ticehurst are very close to the Sussex/Kent border.
Did William and Elizabeth have any children and what were their names, sometimes these can give clues to grandparents ie an Abraham would be rather lucky!

Thanks but she was definately from Stone near Dartford.
William married Elizabeth Eves from Stone near Dartford. Have you considered that this might be Stone-In-Oxney, which is in Ashford district, but right on the Sussex border, next to Brenzett and Romney?? Just thought. Good Luck! |
