I am looking for my husbands grandfather.  He is Albert Loveridge, he was born around 1900, this was a date of birth given to him (so i am told) by a court so they could determine when he would be of pensionable age?  He married Ethel Mary Ellingford-Baxter 25 December 1924 (have the cert).
The had four children, Albert, Rita, Jean, John (my father in law).  Only Rita survives.  Albert died September 1988 in London.
On the marriage certificate it gives Thomas Loveridge as Alberts father.  Also one witness Annie Clara Banks.
Both Albert and Ethel are given as living in Hale Street, Deptford.  Although, again, i am lead to believe that they travelled and did not live in a house until their first child was born.
Anyone out there know anything at all about this particular Loveridge, i would really like to hear from you as I cant get any further with this family line that the marriage cert dated 1924.
