Looking for help actually.  There used to be a website entitled the sawpit.net no longer active.  There was an Allan Saw who maintained a brilliant website some five years back on the Saw surname and all its derivatives.  Site had thousands of names and went back many, many generations.

Any ideas anyone please?

NB This is a rather dreadful surname to research, worse than Smith even.  When googling, one gets handsaw, we saw, he saw, she saw, seesaw, etc.
