thank you Pam there maybe a link to Bilney but not to the others I dont think. Ihave not found death for John yet . He married Elizabeth McMallard and left Tas for Melb. 1852 with 2 children one of them would be George my gg grandfather I dont know when they returned to Tas. George married Ester Fulford in Tas had children only one survived In 1895 George and Ester (took in) Beryl walpole born Leeton N S W can't work that out either maybe someone out there might know ......

I am researching a John Walpole who married a Mary Ferguson in west maitland in N.S.W. Australia in 1842. John Walpole died in Ballina in 1855. Would like to know if there is any family connection? thanks in advance.

Hi Cheryl and Teddy
I have not been able to connect to any Walpoles in Aust. John Walpole was a convict in Tas.and didnot leave the state till 1853 when he went to Vic. with his wife Elizabeth and two children . I have not as yet found his death. His son George married in Tas. but.........some how adopted? Beryl Walpole who was born in Leeton N.S.W. I cannot work that out .
