Could u please make your Chatroom More Easy to Access

I have heaps of probs accessing your chatroom..Have an older Comp, and keep getting this message up re Script error etc,,Ive asked before how to remedy this situation, but no replies
Could u PLEASE Make your Chatroom more Accesible, User Friendly for those too with older comps, as when i do use it it often stuffs up my comp

This is a general answer to your question Smiley

Many applications expect a computer with a certain minimal specification (processor speed, RAM storage, hard-drive, etc) and if older computers don't meet this spec. then the attitude is usually "that's tough !"

The chatroom software uses Javascript and Flash to operate, and the only way of having a chatroom for "older" computers is to use a very primitive chatroom software.

Other people report similar problems with some of the "wonders" of this modern age - for instance, until I upgraded my computer, I couldn't use the chatroom either, nor could I use Google Earth, Google Maps and several other newer applications that expected a certain amount of "computer power"

So, much as we like to satisfy everybody on RootsChat, unless we can find a chatroom software that isn't so "resource hungry", this is definitely one of those areas where only a faster computer will help  Sad

Yesss i kinda thought it may have been my low memory etc hopefully get a better computer at some stage
when i have been able to access the room using library comp etc its been good.
Been a great room, liked sharing with folks in there
