Can anyone tell me where I might go to try and find any old photographs of the Moss Lane area of Romford.  I am after any information on HEDGES COTTAGE that stood in Moss Lane in 1871 or information on who owned it. Is there somewhere I could find out.

Hello there, Moss Lane. as I recall Moss lane was literally a lane that ran paralell with Brentwood Road, it ran from Wheatsheaf Road, cut across George Street then across Albert Road, it was rear access if you like to many properties in Brentwood Road, I don't if it is still there as a pedestrianised lane, I haven't been down it for oh, about 40 years.
