 I am trying to locate  marriage John English to  ? Martha Oddy on c 8.8 1817 and Birth of son Thomas c17 .5 .1818. Any help most apreciated. Thank you

Hi Bethan

I am also researching my ancestor John English of Leeds - I'm working on Ancestry.co.uk but digging around in directories as well. I've been trying to find our more about a Stuff Warehouse that John either owned or worked in somewhere near East Water Road. Do you know anythng about it? I think John's brothers could be Jesse and Benjamin....but going further backwards from 1800 is pretty sketchy
