Anyone familiar with Parish registers, 1701-1912 from the Church of England: Parish of Halton-Holegate?
Looking for information on the christening document described verified on IGI for William Huntingdon b.29Nov1759.
Eventually migrated to Quebec and married abt.1800 and wife Margaret Travers was from NewYork, cannot connect parent info in Lincolnshire etc.
Unknown which point surname spelling change as name on children's baptism records show 't' as does his 1853 death record but it is clear the witnesses names were written by the author.

The 1759 baptism on the IGI is extracted from the parish register so is reliable. Not sure what you're looking for, but in 1759 there may not be much more detail in the actual entry.

You'd stand more chance of success if this message could be switched to the Lincolnshire board, rather than Huntingdonshire

Yes...Berlin-Bob put me here and I don't know why.  I asked to be moved to the other board and it hasn't happened and can't figure out if I can do myself or if I just need to resubmit (I'm new to this site)
