Greetings from New Zealand
Papers have come into my possession that indicate Sarah Boyle was born 14 June 1860 Co Down . She was probably baptised Presbyterian.
How do I go about verifying this information?
I have no idea where she lived, although hints may be (probably misspelled)
Kernhum ? Kersham ?, Kernaham ?, Kernshaw ?, Newburn?
Can anyone guess at where these places might be?
I have no idea where the info came from apart from the fact it is listed on someone else's tree and would like to check the veracity of the info!
Grateful for any hints! Or interpretations!

there is a townland called "kernan" in tullylish parish, not far from gilford.
this would come under banbridge civil district.

Many thanks! I'll get out the maps later today...2am and I've been concentrating on the All Blacks playing the West Island of NZ (Australia) in Hong Kong - eyes a bit bleary !
