CARTERS/ROPERS & BAALHAMS - Polstead
« on: Sunday 02 November 08 16:38 UTC (UK) »

I am currently researching our family history. My family name is Carter from Polstead in Suffolk.

Mary Carter b.Huh had two sons John b.1771 and James b.1775 born in Polstead. John Carter married Mary Roper (b. 1775 Monks Eleigh) in 1792 again in Polstead and they had the following children:

John Carter   21st November 1792
Mary Carter   22nd April 1794
William Carter   6th December 1796
Sarah Carter   9th July 1798  (married James Baalham in Nov 1828 in Polstead)
James Carter   19th September 1799
Robert Carter   9th March 1801 (transported to NSW 1824 my gx2 grandfather)

Any family wanting to get in contact or info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Loads
