PATRICK CURTIS (my great great grandfather) was born 1810 in Aclint townland, Phillipstown Parish in County Louth ... he had 2 sisters   Anne and Rose. His parents: BRYAN CURTIS & ANNE WELDON.
He married CATHERINE MEADE of Drumcondra in Cty Meath in 1835 at the Drumcondrath Catholic Church.
 PATRICK CURTIS leased 99 acres to raise flax from Peter McEvoy Gartland on Lots  A, B, & C from 1854 to 1863..Thomas Mohan then bouthg the land when the Curtis family came to the USA in 1863, settling down in Madison county, Iowea Back in 1822, BRYAN CURTIS leased the land from P. Pendleton, Esq. The BREEN family were neighbors in the Aclint townland, JAMES BREEN married one of Patrick and Catherine's daughters:  MARY CURTIS IN 1860.
Let me know if you recognize any of these names. I don't know where Bryan and Anne are buried.
