MARKET DRAYTON BURIAL 1838
« on: Thursday 03 February 05 10:22 GMT (UK) »

Can anyone please look up for me a burial for Hannah Hunt March Qrt 1838 at Market Drayton.  I am hoping it may give her age to help me verify whether or not it is my ancestor.

Thank you,  Irene

Hi Irene
Market Drayton burials are not on the Cheshire BMD, its listed as Shropshire for registration purposes, you may have to buy the certificate to obtain the information you require,or there is a possibility if she is buried there that you can obtain a monumental inscription from the Shropshire family history society.

Hi Peter,  Thank you for that.  I have posted the same message on the Shropshire site however as the Chesire site also lists Market Drayton -

"Altrincham, Ashton under Lyne, Birkenhead, Bucklow, Chester, Congleton, Great Boughton, Hayfield, High Peak, Macclesfield, Market Drayton, Nantwich, Northwich, Runcorn, Stockport, Warrington, Whitchurch, Wirral, Wrexham"

I thought I would give it a go.

Thanks again,  Irene
