Hi Poppyann
Tried to search but coming up with nothing and so tried the Sussex Marriage Index to see if I could find a possible marriage for parents and there is nothing in the Frant area at all.

Hi Dave, thank you very much for the info. I already have some of it. So far I have been unable to trace the parents of Nathaniel b abt 1767 in Sussex I assume. Lucy Jacob the widow of Thomas married a George Mitchell in 1842. I am still going through your info and agree with your view of the monumental inscriptions. Regards Poppyann
