HOW do I remove the configuration folder it says should be removed- AND how can I get it to accept what I want to put into it-it does not change at all,I have tried pressing Introduction/Family etc-BUT cannot see how to do my own introduction etc.
Hiya Jeano,
Delighted you got to log into it - and you spotted something that I missed - I should have removed that folder it mentions in the configuration when I istalled it - so that's my own silly fault. I've removed it for you now.
It looks like the reason why your pages didn't appear was because it had gone into the "Repository" folder, and went into like a Black Hole!!! I've got rid of that folder now, so that any page you type will appear.
I'll post two screenshots below, and carry on in the next message:

In the top left of your "manager" screen (not shown above) you have lots of different options. The only ones you need to bother with really are the ones: Content -> New document -> New weblink
You can also click on some of these which are quite useful: Site -> Home -> Launch Site -> Refresh Site -> Site Schedule -> Visitor Stats -> Visitors now browsing
Anyway, where was I? Oh yes, editing pages.
This is a funny one, and caught me out a few times. When you are editing a page you see the Save Delete Preview Cancel buttons across the top (see screenshot above). You'll notice on that page the words: Document parent 0(Haram Family Tree) If while you are editing a page you then click on any of the other pages (the other screenshot) then the other page will become the "Parent" of that page in the menu. (Not confusing "parents" here with family history).
What I've just written doesn't seem to make much sense, but you'll know what has happened if your pages seem to be "below" other places in the menu (like in the "Family" menu item that I created as an example) or they don't seem to appear anywhere at first.
After you have finished editing a page rememebr to press the Save button.
Finally to Edit any other page, select whichever page you want from that list,(bottom-left) and click "Edit" (top-right).
Hope that helps a little bit for now.
