Seeking imformation on Peter McGivney of Lavey Parish Kilmore, he married a Bridge O'Neil and emigrated to Wishaw Scotland looking for census lookup trying to find the exact townland he came from....

Difficult to give an answer without knowing dates but here what census records survive for Co. Cavan:
1821 some parishes including Kilmore and Lavey
1901

I am not sure what year my great grandfather came to Scotland best bet would be 1901 he was a farmer just like 98% of the irish population,  I found him on the griffiths valuation for 1857 he was the oldest son so I take it he was called after his father....... well his father would have been head of household then

His marriage certificate would confirm his father's Christin name.
