Gary,
His first name was Ernest and he had the greengrocer's during WWII. he was injured in WWI after a bullet shattered his elbow.

the person im after info on is bernard green born approx 1924 he was a male nurse at gateshead and newcastle his family the green family had the shop in sunderland im not after info on who had the shop befor the green family just info on the green family lol but thank you

 I can't find him in the phone book or trade directories as a greengrocer. There is an Ernest Dickinson selling posters & cards in south shields.
