Hi,I have a conflicting piece of info you might be able to help me with.I have found a baptism of ANNE TUCKWOOD I Nov 1807 in EXTON parents William Tuckwood and Elizabeth Granger.But these are my grt.grt.grt.g'parents who had all their children in Notts.Now someone is saying that this was their only child,if so these are not my ancesters.Any ideas please

Hi Paul,thanks for your reply.I've found some children all bap.in Exton.Could these be the children of William Tuckwood and Elizabeth Crouding.I've tried Family Search,but nothing comes up for Exton.

Exton is not on the family search. You can go to either Leicester & Rutland records office or Oakham library for Rutland microfiche.

There are children of William & Elizabeth on my fiche.
Also the Ann that you mention. She is also the daughter of William & Elizabeth. I think this is William Jnr born 1787. He would be 20yrs old.

Family search gives the marriage of William & Elizabeth nee Grainger in Nottingham.
24 Nov 1803 which would make William 16 years old.
