Since its some 4 years since I last posted interests in Cheshire and especially Macclesfield - here is an updated list

I just checked these against my list of macclesfield names and there are no matches! I am actually surprised when you think my husbands family has 6 generations in the Macclesfield area!

Not to worry, but I bet my family did come into contact with some of your ancestors as we owned the Corner Shop in Windmill Square for some 100 years as well as a cake shop nearby.

Never mind - I do have a good family tree, just trying to put a bit more flesh on the bones
