Deleting old posts is not usually done as it makes a complete nonsense of the thread they're in and they help in rootschat searches of anyone subsequently searching for those names mentioned in the thread.

apart from that .... the forum software seems to have a mind of its own as to when / where it offers the Delete Icon in an individual post within a thread ....  !

Hi Newby
Just go to the first post in your thread and click on Modify.
You should then see the "type in" box that you used when you first wrote the post - and you can modify the title to add the word Complete.
It's important to do this on the first post, as its the only one that shows when looking at the threads listed on the board (if you see what I mean!)
