 An interesting group of migrants , almost unheard of here in UK, who had a dreadful time  for the first three or four years, until they started sheep farming instead of trying to grow wheat. My 3 x great grandmother, Sarah (Hornblow) Cadle was one of them.

They are highly regarded these days and there is a huge monument to them in Grahamstown ZA there are two main websites for 1820 settlers.
