Caemain Cottages, Llanelly Completed
« on: Monday 17 November 08 10:39 UTC (UK) »

William and Jane David appear to have lived in No.5 Caemain Cottages from probably from marriage in 1823 to both their deaths. Their 9 children being born there. Would this area be under diocese of St.Pauls as I am interested to obtain baptism entries.
David c.1829
Elizabeth c.1833
Thomas c.1835
Mary c.1837
Ann c.1839
Daniel c.1841
Harriet c.1845
William c.1848
Joseph c.1850

As the marr. of William and Jane was 1823 I would think there would possibly be a first son called William who probably died or I haven't found info on him, the info. being from 1851 Census.
I believe Daniel died btwn 1841/51 and Joseph also btwn 1851/61 so any info. on burials would be most grateful or if anyone could tell me where to obtain B.M.D's for St.Pauls. Thank you, Syljun

Caemain Cottages would have been in the Hengoed Hamlet, and probably in Felinfoel Road, near the Thomas Arms; Llanelly Parish Church Cemetery;

Quit a way from St Pauls.
Would probably come under St Elli Parish Church, as you have the Marriage from 1823.
This was the year The Vicar of St Elli [Ebenezer Morris], went round the town demanding that all un-baptised children be baptised in his church, Just one Family shown below
1823    25/03 ANN THOMAS    WILLIAM & MARY   b 18-5-1818, PENCRYG, FARMER
1823    25/03 DAVID THOMAS   WILLIAM & MARY   b 25-12-1810, PENCRYG, FARMER
1823    25/03 MARGARET THOMAS   WILLIAM & MARY   b 24-11-1822, PENCRYG, FARMER
1823    25/03 MARY THOMAS   WILLIAM & MARY   b 16-11-1814, PENCRYG, FARMER

Hope this is helpfull
